A Texas lawyer was shot and killed exterior a McDonald’s after attempting to settle down an offended buyer, police say.

Jeffrey Limmer, 46, died after the incident in Houston on Saturday night and his attacker fled the scene in a pickup truck.

The shopper was upset with staff over his order and demanded a refund. Mr Limmer tried to calm them down, in keeping with native information outlet ABC13.

Police say the battle went exterior and Mr Limmer pushed the shopper to the bottom.

The shopper then went to his automobile and pulled out a gun and allegedly shot him earlier than fleeing the scene, detectives say.

In an interview with ABC13, Mr Limmer’s sister Jennifer Thomas praised her brother.
