Talking with reporters after the assembly, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma stated, “There have been discrepancies concerning the costs of diesel and petrol in Rajasthan. We’ve got eliminated this anomaly and have decreased the VAT charge by two per cent.” He stated that on account of two per cent discount in VAT on petroleum merchandise and steps taken by oil advertising corporations, the costs of petrol and diesel will come down within the state.

The Chief Minister stated that the decreased costs on petrol and diesel can be relevant from 6 am on Friday, March 15. It will put a burden of roughly Rs 1500 crore on the state authorities.

“We’ve got eliminated the anomalies and likewise made diesel and petrol cheaper.” Equally, the cupboard determined to extend the dearness allowance of state workers by 4 proportion factors. Sharma stated, “In step with the central authorities workers, we’ve elevated the dearness allowance by 4 per cent. 50 per cent dearness allowance can be payable from January 1, 2024.” “Earlier, 46 per cent dearness allowance was being given to the state authorities workers. We’ve got elevated it by 4 per cent to 50 per cent.”

About eight lakh workers and 4.40 lakh pensioners will profit from the choice. It will put a further burden of about Rs 1,640 crore on the state authorities yearly.
