Retired UFC fighter Mark Coleman has been hospitalised and is preventing for his life after he rescued his dad and mom from a home fireplace.

Members of the family and people near the UFC Corridor of Famer mentioned he was in an induced coma after the fireplace in Toledo, Ohio, early this morning.

It was mentioned Mr Coleman was woken up by his canine, Hammer, barking as the home started to go up in flames.

The 59-year-old pulled his father after which mom from the burning constructing. He then returned to try to save Hammer however was unable to.

Whereas his dad and mom weren’t severely injured, Coleman collapsed and suffered from the results of smoke inhalation, Sky’s US companion NBC Information studies.

As firefighters arrived on the property, the roof was mentioned to have collapsed.

He needed to be rushed to hospital through helicopter the place his daughter mentioned he was “preventing for his life”.

In a message shared on social media, Morgan Coleman added: “Our father has at all times been our hero and means the world to us. He’s and at all times can be a fighter. The strongest and bravest man I do know.”

On Fb, Mr Coleman’s mum, Connie, mentioned: “Thank God we’re alive. Prayers for Mark! Thanks to all of the firefighters. And sheriffs dept. EMS Crimson Cross. and particularly my household. Couldn’t do that with out you! Love you all! And the tons of of textual content, messages and telephone calls it’s really heartwarming”.

Footage of the home present the property gutted by the blaze, with no roof left standing and the partitions barely in tact.
