Report says RE might introduce the upcoming Scram 650 under the Interceptor Bear 650 nameplate. However, the company has not revealed any related details as yet.

The most loved motorcycle manufacturer in India Royal Enfield is planning to expand the lineup in the country. To offer a wide range of motorcycles for the customers to choose from, the brand is gearing up to launch Classic 650 and Scram 650.

Ahead of the official release, both the bikes have been spotted during the testing phase somewhere in Chennai. The leaked photos somehow have revealed an overall styling, giving an idea about how they will look on the road in the future.

Upcoming RE Scram 650 and Classic 650

Going by the photos, both motorcycles look completely head-turners on the road. While the Classic 650 shares some similar design cues from the younger sibling Classic 350, the Scram 650 seems like has taken some serious inspiration from Interceptor 650.

It has been reported that the company might introduce the upcoming Scram 650 under the Interceptor Bear 650 nameplate. However, RE has not shared any related details about the same as yet. But, some reports suggested that it might drop some big hints soon.

Some Key Features

Talking about the Scram 650 first, it will come with a single seating arrangement, and a round-shaped headlight setup, complimented by sleek side indicators. To make it bolder and wilder, the bike is expected to run on stylish spoke wheels. Again! it is not confirmed yet whether the update will make it to the product model or not.

When it comes to the body frame, the Scram 650 will be more related to the Interceptor 650, while the Classic 650 is expected to be more inspired by the Super Meteor 650.

Engine and Power

As far as the engine is concerned, both motorcycles will be powered by the same 648cc parallel-twin engine. The unit will generate a max power of 47 bhp peak power and 52 Nm peak torque, and will be mated with a 6-speed transmission.
