Sangeeth Sivan Remembered By Sunny Deol, Riteish Deshmukh And Others: 'Deeply Saddened And Shocked'

Director Sangeeth Sivan, greatest recognized for Bollywood movies like Kya Kool Hain Hum and Apna Sapna Cash Cash died on Wednesday following a cardiac arrest. The director was 65 on the time of his dying. The information was confirmed by the actor’s cinematographer-brother Santosh Sivan to PTI. Sunny Deol, Rtieish Deshmukh, Tusshar Kapoor amongst others condoled the dying of the director on social media. Sharing a photograph of Sangeeth Sivan, Sunny Deol wrote, “Shocked to listen to in regards to the passing away of my pricey buddy @sangeethsivan, cannot consider that you’re now not amongst us, however you’ll all the time be with us in our hearts and recollections . Om Shanti my buddy , could your loved ones get the energy to beat your loss.”

Riteish Deshmukh, who featured in two movies directed by Sangeeth sivan, Kya Kool Hai Hum & Apna Sapna Cash Cash, tweeted, “Deeply saddened and shocked to know that Sangeeth Sivan Sir isn’t any extra. As a newcomer all you need is somebody to consider in you and take an opportunity.. cannot thank him sufficient for Kya Kool Hai Hum & Apna Sapna Cash Cash. Comfortable spoken, light and a beautiful human being. Am coronary heart damaged at present, my deepest condolences to his household and family members, his spouse, children, brothers. I’ll miss you Da !!!!! And your infectious laughter!!! Relaxation in Glory.”

Tusshar Kapoor, who was a part of the movie Kya Kool Hain Hum, thanked Sangeeth Sivan for introducing him to comedy movies and wrote, “Haven’t got phrases to explain what I am feeling proper now…. A mentor of types, somebody who launched me to comedy with #KyakoolHainHum isn’t any extra! Sangeeth ji, I had the honour of working with you once more not too long ago but it surely’ll take me a very long time to recover from this unhappy information! RIP sir you may be missed! #SangeethSivan #gem.”

Sangeeth Sivan’s first movie was the Malayalam Raghuvaran-starrer Vyooham in 1990. Since then, he went on to helm blockbuster movies like Mohanlal’s Yodha, Gandharvam and Nirnayam. The filmmaker is survived by his spouse, Jayashree, and kids, Sanjana and Shanthanu.
