They first had the audiences in awe when they first starred together in Karan Johar’s Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and continued to charm in films like Chalte Chalte, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna and more. At a recent awards show in Mumbai, Shah Rukh Khan and Rani were spotted together on the red carpet, both dressed in black.
Shah Rukh Khan looked dapper in a black suit, while Rani exuded her timeless charm in a black chiffon sari paired with a sequined blouse. With her hair left loose, she accessorised the look with diamond danglers. Shah Rukh Khan approached her, greeted her with a hug and air kisses, and then they posed for the paparazzi.
Interestingly, last year, Shah Rukh Khan had joined Rani Mukerji to surprise fans at special screenings of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. The film completed 25 years in 2023. While several videos from the screening went viral on social media, there was one video that broke the internet. In the video, Shah Rukh was seen carrying the pallu of Rani’s saree to avoid trampling it or letting it get dirty.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan had an exceptional 2023 with three successful releases: Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki. He also won the CNN-News18 Indian Of The Year. The actor will be next seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s action-packed thriller titled King. He also has Tiger Vs Pathaan in the pipeline.
Meanwhile, Rani Mukerji, who was last seen in Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway, is confirmed to be starring in the sequel to Mardaani 2. The film will go on floors soon in 2024.
