After a powerful opening weekend, the movie Shaitaan noticed single-digit field workplace collections on subsequent weekdays. In accordance with a Sacnilk report, on day 6, the supernatural thriller directed by Vikas Bahl collected ₹ 6.25 crore. To date, the movie has amassed a complete of ₹ 74 crore, the report added. The film narrating the gripping story of a household held hostage by a person wielding supernatural powers is a remake of the 2023 Gujarati movie Vash. Audiences have been appreciative of the performances of Ajay Devgn as Kabeer, R Madhavan as Vanraaj Kashyap, Janki Bodiwala within the function of Jahnvi, and Jyotika portraying Jyoti within the film.
On Wednesday, Bollywood commerce analyst Taran Adarsh posted a word on X (previously Twitter) concerning the day 5 field workplace earnings of Shaitaan. He wrote, “#Shaitaan is all set to have a GLORIOUS *Week 1* due to the rock-steady pattern on weekdays, after a stable weekend… Fri 15.21 cr, Sat 19.18 cr, Solar 20.74 cr, Mon 7.81 cr, Tue 6.57 cr. Whole: ₹ 69.51 cr. #India biz. #Boxoffice.”
Taran Adarsh added, “#Shaitaan will face a number of new movies, beginning with #Yodha and #Bastar this week… For the reason that optimistic suggestions is out in public area, #Shaitaan ought to, as soon as once more, witness a spike in biz this weekend.”

In an NDTV evaluate, movie critic Saibal Chatterjee gave Shaitaan 1.5 out of 5 stars and defined, “In a hackneyed good versus evil assemble that’s as contrived as it’s convoluted, Shaitaan centres on a contented household of 4 that finds itself up towards a diabolical modern-day sorcerer who works his black magic on a younger lady and makes her do his satanic bidding. The satan is out to place the worry of God in you. However there’s nothing extra scary right here than the fluffy movie itself.”
“Swinging between the cacophonous and the batshit loopy, Shaitaan, remake of a latest Gujarati movie, is targetted at lead actor Ajay Devgn’s fan base, which loves to observe him play the robust man who proves equal to any process, be it as an invisible police officer combating lawbreakers or a father compelled to show indomitable defender of a household threatened by a depraved world,” Saibal Chatterjee added.
