New Delhi: Tata Passenger Electrical Mobility on Wednesday mentioned it has secured an order to produce 2,000 items of XPRES-T electrical sedans from built-in fleet electrification platform Vertelo. The corporate, a unit of Tata Motors, has inked a non-binding memorandum of understanding, with Macquarie managed Vertelo for the supply of EV items.

The corporate will start deliveries of the automobiles to Vertelo in a phased method, Tata Passenger Electrical Mobility (TPEM) mentioned in a press release.

The corporate mentioned with over 89% market share in FY24, the fleet phase has seen a speedy adoption by corporates and establishments.

“Such collaborations within the business will additional assist strengthen our market place amidst India’s EV revolution,” TPEM Chief Business Officer Vivek Srivatsa said.
