This week US lawmakers handed a invoice that forces TikTok’s Chinese language dad or mum firm ByteDance to promote the vastly widespread social media app, or be banned in America.

However why is the US doing this? And if it has to do with suspicions about China, why is it going after an organization headquartered in Singapore? Will TikTok actually get banned?
