NEW DELHI: Voting for the second part of Lok Sabha polls will happen on Friday, with 88 seats up for grabs throughout 13 states and cricket legend Sunil Gavaskar has urged Indian residents to take part by casting their votes.
The Election Fee of India on Thursday shared a video on their social media platform that includes footage from the IPL 2024 match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, with Gavaskar’s voice within the background, encouraging Indians to train their proper to vote.
“Train your proper and forged your vote ! Tune in to Sunil Gavaskar’s voting attraction throughout #IPL match,” Election Fee of India wrote on their deal with.
“The most important competition of democracy is amongst us. The Indian Normal Elections 2024 with over 97 crore registered voters and 10.5 lakh polling stations, India readies for the most important democratic train on this planet. Let your voice be heard. Train your proper and forged your vote,” Gavaskar mentioned within the video posted by the Election Fee of India.
