Actress Karisma Kapoor is our favourite B-Town foodie. The actress always manages to impress us with her gastronomic anecdotes. Recently, she visited Indore and needless to say, relished some local delicacies. When in Indore how could she not gorge on authentic Indori poha with jalebi? The actress updated her Instagram family about her foodie escapade by sharing a series of pictures from her trip. In one of the pictures, Karisma can be seen taking a big bite of a juicy and crispy jalebi, while holding the plate full of poha. In the next slide, we caught a close-up glimpse of the drool-worthy plate. The picture shows steamy hot poha topped with some pomegranate and curry leaves served with lip-smacking jalebis on the side. It turns out, Karisma enjoyed poha with sev and chopped onion to add that crisp. As always, there was a zesty slice of lemon to complete the dish. Of course, Karisma’s Indori gastronomical adventure concluded with dessert. The series of pictures ended with a glimpse of a “matka kulfi” truck. Sharing the pictures, Karisma wrote, “Positively purple,” hinting at her OOTD.

Karisma Kapoor has never shied away from expressing her love for food. Be it simple coffee or a complete feast in Punjab, the actress makes sure to update her fans about her food preferences. Karisma recently visited Amritsar, leaving behind a drool-worthy foodie trail. While the actress dropped a series of pictures from her travel diaries, our attention was caught by the array of food items featured in one of the clicks.
We spotted Karisma relishing scrumptious North Indian delicacies. The massive thali included Amritsari stuffed churchur naan with a bowl full of dal makhani, chhole, shahi paneer, and plain rice. She also gorged on kulhad lassi, raita and kheer, kept next to two slices of bread pakoda. Along with the pictures, she wrote, “Positive energy and delicious food. A wonderful day spent in Amritsar.”
