“Accused Amar Agrawal fired three rounds at Giri from an airgun leading to head accidents. Agrawal escaped from the spot. Giri was admitted in a hospital in Kharsia from the place he was referred to Raigarh metropolis for higher remedy,” the SDOP mentioned. Agrawal was booked beneath sections 307 (try and homicide), 506 (prison intimidation) and 294 (obscene acts) of the IPC and provision of Arms Act, Patel mentioned.

Agrawal unsuccessfully contested the 2018 Meeting elections on an AAP ticket from Kharsia.
