Colombian designer Nancy Gonzalez has been sentenced to 18 months in jail for illegally smuggling thousands and thousands of {dollars} of crocodile and snakeskin purses into the US, based on a press release issued by the US Legal professional’s Workplace for the Southern District of Florida Monday.
The designer, who has offered baggage to celebrities like Britney Spears and Victoria Beckham and whose merchandise had been featured within the movie “The Satan Wears Prada,” had beforehand pled responsible to the costs.
Her Colombia-based firm Gzuniga Ltd was banned from promoting any exotic-skin baggage for subsequent three years and ordered to forfeit all purses and beforehand seized merchandise.
