With perseverance and onerous work during the last two years, Nilkrishna Gajare, son of a farmer from Maharashtra’s Washim district, has secured All India Rank 1 within the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains.

Hailing from Belkhed, a distant village in Washim, Nilkrishna adopted a rigorous schedule, dedicating greater than 10 hours to organize for the exams day by day.

Speaking to PTI over the cellphone, Nilkrishna’s father, Nirmal Gajare, mentioned he had no phrases to specific his happiness over his son’s success.

Nilkrishna did his main education at Rajeshwar Convent in Akola and J C Excessive Faculty in Karanja Lad in Washim and had lived together with his aunt on the time, he mentioned.

“Nilkrishna has at all times been an excellent scholar and was good at sports activities. He participated within the district and nationwide degree tournaments in archery,” Nirmal Gajare mentioned.

The 19-year-old is pursuing his research at Shree Dnyaneshwar Maskuji Burungale Science and Arts School, Shegaon.

Nilkrishna wakes up by 4 am, research for 2 hours, and does “pranayam” (respiration workouts) and once more begins finding out from 8.30 am and sleeps by 10 pm, Gajare mentioned.
