Left-wing firebrand George Galloway secured a UK parliamentary seat, capitalising on public discontent over Israel’s warfare in Gaza. The 69-year-old Galloway, who initially turned an MP in 1987, made a comeback to the Home of Commons for the primary time since 2015.
