Haryana hikes DA: Forward of the Lok Sabha elections, the Haryana authorities on Friday raised the Dearness Allowance (DA) by 4 per cent for state authorities workers, pensioners and household pensioners.

The revised charge, which has been elevated from 46 per cent to 50 per cent, will likely be efficient from January 1, 2024, stated an official assertion.

“The elevated DA will begin being paid to authorities workers with their March 2024 wage… together with this, the arrears for the months of January and February will likely be paid within the month of Might,” it stated.

The state authorities has additionally issued orders to supply Dearness Reduction (DR) to its pensioners and household pensioners from January 1, 2024, onwards.

They may even be paid DR with their March 2024 pension/household pension payable in April 2024 and the arrears for January and February 2024 will likely be paid in Might 2024.
