Hero MotoCorp today announced the launch of the new Hero Mavrick 440. The new Mavrick will be available in three variants – Base, Mid and Top priced at Rs 1.99 lakh, 2.14 lakh and 2.24 lakh respectively (all prices Ex-showroom). Interested customers can book the bike online or by visiting their nearest Hero dealership.
The company also announced the launch of the ‘Welcome to Mavrick Club Offer’ which will be available to customers who book the bike before March 15.They will get a customised Mavrick kit of accessories and merchandise worth Rs 10,000. The deliveries of the new Hero Mavrick 440 are slated to begin from April 2024.

The new Hero Mavrick 440 is co-developed with Harley-Davidson and is based on the X440. In terms of design, the bike features a round LED projector headlamp with H-shaped DRLs. It gets muscular styling with a sculpted fuel tank and extended shrouds. At the rear, it gets a stubby tail section with LED taillights and it features a scooped-out, single-piece seat setup.
The Mavrick gets 43 mm dia telescopic front forks with 7-step twin shock absorbers at rear. It features 17-inch wheels on both ends and tips the scale at 187kg (alloy wheels) and 191kg (spoke wheels) with a fuel tank capacity of 13.5 litres. The bike measures 2100mm in length and has a 1388mm wheelbase with a ground clearance of 175mm and a seat height of 803mm. Braking duties are taken care of by 320mm front and 240mm rear disc brakes.

The bike is offered in five colour options and three variants – Base, Mid and Top. The base variant gets spoke wheels and will be available in a single Arctic White colour. The Mid variant features alloy wheels and will be available in two colour options – Celestial Blue and Fearless Red. The Top variant gets machined alloys and will be offered with Phantom Black and Enigma Black colour options.

In terms of features, the bike gets all LED lighting, a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, call and message alerts, a USB-C charging port, and a slipper clutch. The bike is powered by the same 440cc, oil-cooled engine that powers the Harley-Davidson X440. The engine puts out 27bhp at 6000rpm and 36Nm at 4000rpm. It comes paired with a six-speed gearbox equipped with a slip-and-assist clutch.
