Houthis released footage showing what they said was the downing of a US MQ-9 drone near the Red Sea port city of Hodeidah. The Houthi footage also included images of wreckage on a beach in the early hours of Monday morning. Earlier, a Houthi spokesman said the drone was shot with a “suitable missile” while it was conducting a spying mission over Yemen. This is the second time that the Houthis have claimed to have shot down an American drone since the Oct. 7 Hamas attack on Israel.
