Those numbers look painful on their own, but the gap becomes far more striking when the same phones are compared with Apple’s pricing in other major markets.
The newly launched iPhone Duo makes the difference even harder to ignore. Apple’s first foldable iPhone starts at Rs 2,99,900 in India, compared with $1,999 in the US, £1,999 in the UK, AED 8,499 in the UAE and ¥364,800 in Japan.

India Pays Heavy Premium For iPhone 18 Pro
