Delhi Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Atishi on Thursday claimed that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will be arrested if the AAP ties up with Congress in Delhi for the Lok Sabha elections.

The AAP leader’s claim came after the Enforcement Directorate on Thursday issued the seventh summons to Kejriwal and asked him to appear before it on February 26 for questioning in connection with the Delhi excise policy case.

“We (AAP) have received threats that if AAP doesn’t leave the INDIA alliance, then in the next two days, Arvind Kejriwal will receive a CBI notice, either on Saturday or Monday, under CrPC Section 41 A, and he will be arrested by the CBI and the ED. AAP is being threatened that if AAP-Congress do seat sharing, then, in the next three to four days, Arvind Kejriwal will be arrested,” said Atishi at a press conference in Delhi.

Kejriwal has so far not appeared before the federal agencies in connection with the case in which two AAP leaders– Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh– are behind bars.

Meanwhile, sources said the Congress and Aam Aadmi Party have finalised their seat negotiation talks for Delhi for the crucial Lok Sabha polls. According to sources, AAP will contest four seats, while Congress will fight over three seats in the national capital. The two alliance partners are likely to make the decision public soon.

The grand old party is likely to contest from Chandini Chowk, East Delhi and North Delhi, while AAP will field its candidate from South, Northwest, New Delhi and West Delhi, sources informed.

In addition to this, it has also been learnt that Congress is likely to give AAP one seat in Haryana and two seats in Gujarat. Meanwhile, AAP will give up its south Goa constituency for the Congress. The Arvind Kejriwal-led party has a sitting MP in Goa.
