The ruling DMK in Tamil Nadu finalised its Lok Sabha polls seat-sharing pact with the Left events on Thursday, allotting the CPI and CPI (M) two seats every.

An official launch from the DMK mentioned the seat-sharing talks had been finalised at present and the choice arrived upon.

The M Ok Stalin-led DMK, which leads the multi-party Secular Progressive Alliance (SPA) within the state, had earlier shared one seat every to its allies IUML and Kongu Desiya Murpokku Kazhagam (KMDK) for the upcoming polls.

The 2 Left events had, by the way, contested from as many seats within the 2019 elections, and gained. Whereas the CPI (M) represents Madurai and Coimbatore, CPI has MPs from Tiruppur and Nagapattinam (SC).
