Wales’ First Minister Mark Drakeford fought again tears as he made a farewell speech on his final day in workplace.

Whereas addressing colleagues within the Senedd, the 69-year-old needed to pause briefly as he talked about the dying of his spouse of 46 years, Clare, saying the previous 12 months had been the “hardest and saddest of my life”.
