Putin Slated To Win Russian Presidential Elections With 87% Vote: Exit Poll

Moscow, Russia:

Russian chief Vladimir Putin was slated to win presidential elections with 87 % of the vote, state-run exit polls confirmed Sunday, following a poll that included no actual opposition candidates.

The federal government-run VTsIOM pollster confirmed the 71-year-old Russian chief had gained the election — additionally being held in occupied areas of Ukraine — after polls closed in Russia’s western-most area of Kaliningrad at 1700 GMT.
