Congress on Friday launched the primary listing of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The names included Rahul Gandhi who can be contesting from Kerela’s Wayanad, Bhupesh Baghel from Chhattisgarh’s Rajnandgaon, Shashi Tharoor from Kerala’s Thiruvananthapuram amongst others. The listing contains 39 candidates who’ve been named from throughout a number of states.

The announcement got here a day after the Congress’ Central Election Committee (CEC) finalised the names for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections after having a dialogue on over 60 Lok Sabha seats from 11 states and union territories. The CEC assembly which was chaired by social gathering president Mallikarjun Kharge.

In the meantime, Lok Sabha elections are attributable to be held in few weeks, nevertheless, the polling schedule is but to be introduced by the Election Fee of India (ECI).
