A weapons armourer on the movie set of Rust has requested for a brand new involuntary manslaughter trial and to be launched from jail.

Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was discovered responsible after a two-week trial in Santa Fe, New Mexico, after the deadly capturing of Halyna Hutchins, 42, on the western movie set in October 2021.

“Ms Gutierrez-Reed is requesting this courtroom vacate her conviction and order new trial,” legal professionals Jason Bowles and Monnica Barreras stated, in an emergency movement.
