Remember the iconic car from the Bollywood film ‘Taarzan – The Wonder Car’? The one that could repair itself, submerge underwater, and even drive on its own? Well, after being found abandoned a few years back, the car is on its course to roar back to life.
After years of lying abandoned, the Taarzan is undergoing a restoration at a workshop and the progress is regularly being updated on the International Auto & Engg Works YouTube channel.The restoration process is documented in a series of progress videos.

The latest videos show the car being stripped down to its bare metal frame, before being painstakingly rebuilt with new parts and components. The car is also being given a fresh coat of blue paint, staying true to its original color scheme.
The car was designed and built by Dilip Chhabria, a renowned Indian car designer, and it captured the imagination of audiences with its futuristic features and sleek design.
Before this video, the car owner showed how they were fixing up the inside of the car. They painted all the inside parts like the doors, dashboard, and center console black. In another video, the shop owner was seen working on the mechanical parts of the car.
Underneath the cool exterior of this special sports car is a Toyota MR2, a popular model from the 1980s. It had a strong 2.0-liter engine in the back, making it a hit with car fans.
