How would you react if we asked you – can you cook while driving? While that sounds like a ridiculous question, we do have a reason for asking. The internet has brought forth a video of an Instagram user who is cooking while driving his BMW. Social media users seem to have been watching it on a loop to understand why he is doing this, making the video go viral.  And, he is cooking not just any dish but a complex English-origin steak dish called Beef Wellington. The clip begins with the user applying salt to raw beef, and placing it on a wooden board on the passenger seat, which he is using as his cooking station. If you thought that was easy, then you need to see him chopping button mushrooms. Needless to say, it is a messy affair, since he is cooking in a moving car.

Next, he connects his electric barbeque grill to his charging station. Firstly, he placed a miniature frying pan on top of it and sauteed the mushrooms. Once it turned golden brown, he removed the pan and placed the beef directly on the grill. After covering the beef with mustard sauce, the next step was to prepare the bacon. The process begins by spreading the raw bacon strips on a sheet and covering the strips with sauteed mushrooms. Then he placed the mustard-covered beef on it and wrapped it with bacon strips. Now, he replaced his grill with an air fryer and put this wrapped meat in the tray, after topping it with generous butter. The clip concluded with the man taking a big bit of that crunchy beef steak. After the bite, the user can be heard saying, “Best beef Wellington I ever had.”

He shared the video with the text, “I can cook too.”

Internet users flooded the comments section with their varied reactions. While many channelled their inner wit, the clip surely raised some safety concerns.

A comment read, “So irresponsible… you’re not even drunk.”

Many pointed out that he was driving on the wrong side, as another comment read, “He’s driving on the wrong side of the road the whole time.”

A user joked, “My Uber Eats driver when I add beef Wellington to my order at the last minute.”

“That’s so dangerous,” said another.

A few claimed, “This it’s not cool, people will try to imitate it even if it’s fake.”

Have you tried beef Wellington? So far, the video has been viewed more than 4 million times.
