Over the next 10 months, the grooms and their planning team met almost every day to bring their vision to life. “Stephen envisioned the reception reflecting a masculine, Ralph Lauren aesthetic, while I was keen on an exhilarating band and a ceremony overlooking the Tuscan hills,” says Patrick. The schedule for the rest of the weekend was packed with celebrations including a welcome dinner in the property’s borgo, a pool party, a vineyard fête, and farewell dinner at the golf club. “Every detail, from the floral direction to the lighting strategy, was carefully considered, creating a space that felt personal, sophisticated, and warm,” says Patrick.
This attention to detail was also present in the couple’s approach to their wardrobes. “We wanted to embrace the Tuscan setting while not forgetting New York,” explains Patrick. Naturally, that meant mixing American and Italian designers. “For the welcome party in the borgo, Stephen wore a Brunello Cucinelli linen jacket paired with Ralph Lauren trousers, an Isaia shirt, and Cucinelli suede loafers,” says Patrick. “I was a bit bolder in a spring 2026 Prada runway look, that I picked up on an emergency Milan shopping trip two weeks before the wedding.” For the wedding day, the grooms kept it classic, matching in Tom Ford tuxedos—“complete with a matching TF butterfly bow tie for Pablo!” On their final night, Patrick donned a linen Ralph Lauren suit, and Stephen wore an ensemble that mixed Prada, Dior, and Edward Sexton. Patrick adds, “Most importantly, we both wore wedding gifts to each other—a Rolex Datejust I picked out for Stephen and a diamond tennis bracelet he had designed for me.”
The wedding party of 12 all followed a “clean, black, timeless” dress code for the formal affair. Groomsmen wore tuxedos with matching velvet Ralph Lauren slippers. “The ‘groomettes’ wore black gowns of their own selection, while our maids of honor were in Oscar de la Renta and Ralph Lauren Collection,” says Stephen.
The wedding day arrived, and guests gathered at a ceremony space framed with hydrangea and a view of Tuscany. “Ominous dark clouds created a bit of drama in the sky… and plenty of anxiety an hour before kickoff,” remembers Patrick. “Juliana’s Colombian superstition of sticking two knives in the ground kept the rain at bay, giving us a moody ceremony that was truly unforgettable.” The wedding party walked down the aisle to “Me & You” by Flume accompanied by live violinists. As a unique touch, “Stephen’s best friend, Daniel Lewis, officiated the ceremony, striking the perfect balance of humor and heartfelt emotion,” says Patrick. “There was not a dry eye in the crowd, but thankfully, Pablo added some much-needed levity with his panting from the front row.” Adds Stephen, “To this day, we talk about the moment we paused to look out at the crowd—reflecting not only on the love between the two of us, but on the love and connection forming among our friends and family. It’s a feeling we’ll never forget.”
