Riley’s look kept in line with their black-tie dress code with a custom tuxedo designed by Third Son Tailors. “When it came to the aesthetic vibes for Riley that day, it was James Bond,” says the bride. “Handsome and classic.” The groomsmen followed suit in their own tuxedos, and the bridal party had free rein on choosing a gown they loved. “My girlfriends all have amazing taste, and I knew that letting them pick what felt right for them would bring a wonderful mix of colors, fabrics, shapes, and looks,” Sarah shares. “I liked having a mix in photos that showed everyone’s personality.”

The wedding day arrived, and guests gathered on the Baker House 1650 lawn as Henry Mancini’s “Moon River” played softly in the background. “This moment brought old world charm with Hamptons whimsy through the use of the white wrought iron, Parisian style garden chairs and our lush, fresh bloom arch,” describes the bride.

Riley admits he was a “nervous wreck” ahead of the ceremony as he was nervous to trip or mess up his vows. “When the time came, though, I also just felt so happy seeing all of our nearest and dearest there to be with us at that moment,” he describes. Sarah chose to walk herself down the aisle to “Unchained Melody” by the Righteous Brothers. “My dad passed away about seven years ago, so I was walking down the aisle alone to leave that spot for him,” she shares. “I thought I’d feel nervous doing that, but I just felt so at ease with all of the love in the air that day and knew my dad was with us in spirit.” Riley says his heart stopped when he saw Sarah. “She looked beautiful as ever, and I couldn’t wait to hold her hand and finally be married,” he says.

The couple was all smiles as they exchanged vows and sealed their marriage with a kiss. “Young Hearts Run Free” by Candi Staton played as they made their way back up the aisle. “It was time to have fun! We joined our guests for cocktail hour, where we sipped on a lychee martini and a negroni and enjoyed the party,” says the bride. Guests enjoyed elevated classic hors d’ouevres like potato pancakes with crème fraîche and caviar, lobster rolls, and short-rib croquettes.

The reception moved beneath the custom tent that felt like a romantic oasis with garden blooms, pink Ginori plates, and the bespoke wallpaper. The newlyweds kicked off the party with their first dance to “Can’t Help Falling In Love” by Elvis Presley—a selection made by Riley. Sarah shares, “Surprisingly enough, this was the one thing he wanted to make an executive decision on for our wedding, which I loved!” Dinner was punctuated by speeches from friends and family and finished off with the couple cutting into an oversized Principessa cake from Sant Ambroeus. “The color fit seamlessly into the palette and felt especially personal given our winters in Palm Beach,” says the bride.

“After that, we danced the night away to our live band and DJ, sipping espresso martinis and taking in every minute with our guests,” remembers Sarah. The evening continued with a cigar bar and late-night bites, including sliders and chicken and waffles to keep the vibes high.

Reflecting on their nuptials, the bride says, “They say that your wedding day goes by in the blink of an eye. While that might be true, I feel like Riley and I were so blessed to be able to fully take in the day moment-by-moment together. Sure, it was one day, but boy was it special.”
