When it comes to car sales, Maharashtra takes the lead in India, commanding 11.96 percent of the total sales in the Passenger Vehicle (PV) segment. Following closely behind is Uttar Pradesh, capturing a 10.04 percent share, while Gujarat secures the third spot with an 8.46 percent share of the market.

Two-wheeler Sales: UP topples Maharashtra in the segment

In the two-wheeler category, Uttar Pradesh dominated with a commanding 14.35 percent share of the sales. Maharashtra followed closely with a 10.98 percent market share, while Madhya Pradesh (MP) secured the third position with a 7.14 percent share of the segment’s market.

Speaking of the three-wheeler sales in the country, UP stood out again with a notable 12.75 percent share of the country-wide sales. It was followed by Maharashtra and Gujarat, with 10.95 and 10.55 percent respectively. It was a close battle for the second position in this segment.

In the commercial vehicle segment, Maharashtra led the sales, commanding a share of 13.24 percent. Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat followed closely behind, capturing 9.84 percent and 8.69 percent of the market share, respectively.
