GoDigital Music has launched Orinda, its first country music imprint.

The Nashville-based label will be led by Cooper Lycan as General Manager.

Orinda has signed Nic D as its first recording artist.

The launch arrives ahead of CMA Fest 2026, the country festival that runs in downtown Nashville from June 4 to 7.

Orinda marks GoDigital Music‘s expansion into the country and Americana market, following the success of Cinq Music Group, which is led by Barry Daffurn.

GoDigital was founded in 2006 by Jason Peterson and Logan Mulvey, with Cinq Music Group launching in 2012.

Nic D blends country, hip-hop, alternative and pop, and brings nearly 5 million monthly Spotify listeners to the imprint, according to GoDigital Music.

His biggest tracks include Too Easy, Still Hot and Gasoline, each with more than 80 million Spotify plays.

His first release on the label, Slow Down Fast, is set for June 26.

Nic D is co-headlining the Iconic Tour alongside Connor Price this month, on a run of US dates.

GoDigital and Cinq began building in the country genre in 2024, acquiring catalogs from Nashville songwriters including Jimmy Robbins and Ryan Hurd.

Cinq raised $250 million from GoDigital in February 2024 to fund acquisitions in reggaeton, Música Mexicana, Afrobeats and country.

Robbins‘ recent credits include Morgan Wallen‘s Dark Til Daylight and Drinking Til It Does, from the album I’m The Problem.

Robbins also contributes to GoDigital Music‘s publishing and distribution business.

Orinda also follows GoDigital‘s November 2025 rebrand, when the company shed its “Media Group” identity and split into three units: GoDigital Music, Networks and Brands.

The company confirmed a $230 million capital raise at the time, taking its total raised to more than $1 billion.

GoDigital said the rebrand would include the development of genre-specific imprints across its music division.

Cinq‘s catalog spans more than 80,000 assets and includes recordings by Jason Derulo, acquired through Beluga Heights, plus Latin music from Daddy Yankee and Bad Bunny.

Orinda will introduce its founding roster at an invite-only event at The Fort by Fort Nash on Wednesday (June 3), with performances from David J and Skeez.

The activation is the official kickoff for the imprint’s presence in Nashville and its rollout across country music.
