India and Kazakhstan reviewed the entire spectrum of their bilateral relations and reaffirmed their commitment to working more closely to translate their strong partnership into tangible outcomes.The conversations happened at a meeting between Kazakhstan’s recently appointed deputy foreign minister Arman Issagaliyev and India’s Ambassador to Kazakhstan, YK Sailas Thangal, according to the ANI report.“Amb YK Sailas Thangal had a warm and productive meeting with the newly appointed Deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan. The two sides reviewed the entire gamut of bilateral relations and reaffirmed their commitment to working even more closely to translate the strong India-Kazakhstan partnership into tangible outcomes,” the Indian Embassy in Kazakhstan said in a post on X.“They discussed ways to seize emerging opportunities, deepen mutual understanding, and further strengthen a forward-looking partnership between India and Kazakhstan,” added.The meeting came weeks after Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held talks on the sidelines of the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries.According to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Modi highlighted India’s deep historical and civilisational ties with Kazakhstan and expressed satisfaction over the steady growth of bilateral relations in recent years.“The two leaders reviewed bilateral cooperation in a range of fields, including political, trade, defence and security, connectivity, energy, critical minerals, emerging technologies, creative economy, and people-to-people ties.
