Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli announced they have welcomed a baby boy. On Tuesday night, they surprised fans by sharing a post revealing that they have welcomed a son on February 15. They also revealed they have named him Akaay. Following the happy news, Virushka fans blew up Instagram. Not only did they drop hearty comments on the announcement posts but also ended up creating several fan accounts dedicated to the little one.
Within hours of the announcement, new accounts with the name Akaay Kohli sprung up in Instagram and fans began sharing their happy messages addressed to Virat and Anushka. Some even used the photo Anushka and Virat shared at the time of their daughter Vamika’s birth as the display picture to show the couple as parents.
Several Reddit users reacted to the outburst of fan pages dedicated to Akaay. “Bro’s gonna have a hard time then whilst choosing a username,” a social media user joked. “All the star kids are gonna be so annoyed when they can’t select a username for themselves in the future,” added another.
In the post Anushka shared on Tuesday night, the couple shared the good news of their newborn but requested fans to give them privacy. “With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay and Vamika’s little brother into this world!” Anushka and Virat announced.
“We seek your blessings and good wishes in this beautiful time in our lives. We request you to kindly respect our privacy at this time,” they added. The couple has been receiving love since the announcement. Ranveer Singh commented, “♥️♥️♥️♥️.” Shweta Bachchan added, “❤ Congratulations.” Alia Bhatt also joined in and congratulated them. “How beautiful! Congratulations ❤,” Alia wrote.
