Ben Stiller has stated that he was “blindsided” by the failure of his 2016 sequel to Zoolander, the much-loved male mannequin comedy from 2001.

Talking to David Duchovny on the latter’s podcast, Fail Higher, Stiller stated he was stunned by the essential and business scorn with which the film was acquired.
