BJP Ally Chandrababu Naidu Gives Poll Ticket To Father Of Approver In Delhi Liquor Policy Case

Magunta Sreenivasulu Reddy was elected from the Ongole Lok Sabha constituency on a YSRCP ticket in 2019

Amaravati:

The TDP has named Magunta Sreenivasulu Reddy, the daddy of Raghava Magunta, who’s an accused-turned approver within the Delhi excise coverage rip-off case, as a candidate for the Ongole Lok Sabha seat.

Magunta Sreenivasulu Reddy was elected from the Ongole Lok Sabha constituency on a YSRCP ticket in 2019. He abandoned the ruling social gathering not too long ago citing “self-respect” points within the Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy-led social gathering.

The TDP on Friday introduced the candidature of Mr Reddy from the Ongole constituency.

Reacting to the allotment of the seat to Srinivasulu Reddy, political analyst Telakapalli Ravi informed PTI, “That’s the paradox of politics right this moment. Whereas speaking about excessive morals and attacking and criticising others, we neglect all of the morals in our case.”

Magunta Raghava was arrested in reference to the Delhi liquor rip-off by the Enforcement Directorate final 12 months. He later turned approver.

The TDP is in alliance with the BJP within the southern state for the upcoming elections.

The Enforcement Directorate is probing the Delhi excise coverage rip-off case.
