A seven-year-old woman has drowned after a migrant boat capsized in northern France.
The kid was amongst 16 on board the boat when it capsized in a canal in Watten, round 20 miles away from Calais.
The canal results in the Channel close to Dunkirk and is a route repeatedly utilized by migrants making an attempt to cross to the UK.
The boat used within the incident was not sufficiently big to help the 16 on board and capsized shortly after they boarded it, native officers say.
