Lok Sabha Election 2024 LIVE UPDATES: The Lok Sabha polls can be held in seven phases unfold over 44 days beginning April 19 (Friday) on the earth’s largest election, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi eyeing a 3rd consecutive time period in workplace. Counting of votes can be taken up on June 4 and as we speak is the final date for submitting nomination papers. Union transport minister Nitin Gadkari will file his nomination papers in Maharashtra’s Nagpur as we speak. Saying the ballot schedule to elect the 543-member Lok Sabha, Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar mentioned that over 97 crore voters- 49.7 crore male and 47.1 crore female- are eligible to solid their votes throughout 10.5 lakh polling cubicles. Meeting elections in Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim can be held on April 19, and in Andhra Pradesh on Might 13. Elections to the Odisha meeting can be held in 4 phases on Might 13, Might 20, Might 25 and June 1.
