The board is meant to “elevate the bar on the gallery’s strategic pondering and imaginative and prescient for the longer term,” founder Larry Gagosian stated in an announcement. Along with Delphine Arnault, eldest daughter of LVMH chairman Bernard Arnault and member of the group’s govt committee, the board contains Snapchat’s Evan Spiegel, filmmaker Sofia Coppola and others.

Gagosian has firmly denied rumors that the Mr Gagosian, who owns 100% of the enterprise, estimated to clear $1 billion in gross sales yearly, is promoting his gallery to LVMH.
