A person arrested in reference to the dying of Gogglebox star George Gilbey has been launched underneath investigation.
The person, who’s in his 40s, was arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter in reference to Gilbey’s dying on Thursday.
The 40-year-old star reportedly died following an accident at work on Wednesday.
Essex Police stated: “As a part of our ongoing investigation into the dying of a person in Campfield Street, Shoebury, on Wednesday 27 March, a person aged in his 40s from the Witham space was arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter.
“He has now been launched underneath investigation.
“This can be a joint investigation with the Well being and Security Govt and our enquiries are ongoing.”
Police beforehand stated they had been known as to an incident in Shoebury at round 10am on Wednesday after “a person who was working at top had fallen and sustained an damage”.
Gilbey was greatest recognized for showing on the Channel 4 present alongside his mom Linda McGarry and stepfather Pete McGarry, who died in 2021 aged 71.
