NEW DELHI: The Worldwide Cricket Council (ICC) unveiled the official anthem for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024, set to kick off on June 1 throughout the West Indies and the USA.
Produced by Michael “Tano” Montano, the monitor guarantees to be a fusion of Caribbean rhythms and worldwide aptitude, accompanied by a star-studded music video.
Famend Jamaican artist Sean Paul expressed his pleasure about contributing to the anthem, stating, “Cricket has at all times been a significant a part of our tradition, so I am honoured to report the official anthem for the T20 World Cup.”
He emphasised the mix of Caribbean and worldwide influences, aiming to create a unifying anthem for followers worldwide.
Becoming a member of Sean Paul is Kees Dieffenthaller, higher often called Kes, the lead singer of Kes the Band from Trinidad and Tobago.

Kes highlighted the ability of mixing cricket and music, stating, “Our mission has at all times been about bringing worlds collectively, so mixing cricket (expensive to us within the Caribbean) with music is a robust mixture.”
ICC basic supervisor of selling and communications, Claire Furlong, expressed enthusiasm for the anthem’s potential to resonate with cricket followers globally.
She acknowledged, “Followers can anticipate a track that may mirror the Caribbean id whereas retaining common enchantment for international cricket followers, themed across the occasion’s advertising marketing campaign ‘Out of this World'”.
Because the anticipation builds for the event, the ICC Males’s T20 World Cup Trophy Tour 2024 continues its journey, with upcoming stops in Barbados, the venue for the event closing on June 29, following earlier visits to elements of the USA and South America.
