DUBAI : Britain’s maritime company and the safety agency Ambrey have obtained experiences of an incident on Thursday round 15 nautical miles southwest of the Yemeni port of Aden, advisory notes stated.
The UK Maritime Commerce Operations (UKMTO) suggested ships to proceed with warning and report any incident.
Yemeni Houthi militants have been attacking ships within the Purple Sea since November in what they are saying is a marketing campaign of solidarity with Palestinians in the course of the Israel-Hamas struggle in Gaza.
The Houthis stated on Wednesday that they’d carried out three army operations within the Gulf of Aden and the Indian Ocean.
