New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Nationwide Democratic Alliance (NDA) might win 399 out of a complete of 543 Lok Sabha seats, if elections are held now,  with the Bharatiya Janata Get together (BJP) alone projected to win 342 seats, says India TV-CNX Opinion Ballot. The opposition Congress-led I.N.D.I.A. bloc (minus Trinamool Congress) might win 94 seats, whereas others together with Trinamool Congress, YSRCP, BJD and independents might get the remaining 50 seats, says the opinion ballot projections.

Particulars of the opinion ballot have been telecast on the information channel in two phases, yesterday and as we speak. The opinion ballot was performed in all 543 constituencies between March 1 and 30, and the overall variety of respondents was 1,79,190. These embody 91,100 males and 88,090 females. 

Get together-wise seat predictions: BJP 342, Congress 38, Trinamool Congress 19, DMK 18, JD-U 14, TDP 12, Aam Aadmi Get together (AAP) 6, Samajwadi Get together (SP) 3 and Others 91 seats.  

The ruling Bharatiya Janata Get together goes to make a clear sweep of all 26 seats in Gujarat, all 29 seats in Madhya Pradesh, all 25 seats in Rajasthan, all 10 seats in Haryana, all seven seats in Delhi, all 5 seats in Uttarakhand and all 4 seats in Himachal Pradesh, based on the opinion ballot. 

Essentially the most spectacular win goes to be in Uttar Pradesh, the place the BJP might win 73 seats, and its alliance companions the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) and Apna Dal (S) might win two seats every, out of a complete of 80 seats, leaving the remaining three seats for Samajwadi Get together. Each Congress and Bahujan Samaj Get together (BSP) might draw a clean in UP.
