The airliner has 60 % of the Indian aviation market and goals to double its capability by 2030 and looking out ahead to develop its community internationally.

In a launch, the service mentioned it has entered the wide-body area with an order for 30 agency Airbus A350-900 plane.
A PTI report mentioned that these planes shall be powered by Rolls Royce’s Trent XWB engine whereas the precise configuration of the plane shall be determined at a later stage. The deliveries of the wide-body plane are anticipated to begin from 2027.
Along with the 30 agency A350-900 order, IndiGo has buy rights for a further 70 Airbus A350 household plane, at its discretion, for potential future wants underneath sure circumstances, it mentioned.
Presently, IndiGo operates over 350 plane. In June final yr, IndiGo positioned the biggest ever single plane order by any airline for 500 plane with Airbus.
