A person in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter in reference to the loss of life of Gogglebox star George Gilbey.
Essex Police say the 40-year-old is believed to have died after a fall at work.
Gilbey appeared on the Channel 4 sequence alongside his mom Linda McGarry and stepfather Pete McGarry, who died in 2021 aged 71.
The truth star additionally appeared on the 14th sequence of Celeb Huge Brother in 2014, reaching the ultimate.
An Essex Police spokesperson stated: “As a part of our ongoing investigation into the loss of life of a person in Campfield Highway, Shoebury, now we have arrested a person of their 40s from the Witham space on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter.
“It is a joint investigation with the Well being and Security Government and our inquiries are ongoing.”
Essex Police beforehand stated they had been referred to as to an incident in Southend-on-Sea at round 10am on Wednesday.
